Was just looking through 'Dieline' for my research on packaging and came across this toy designed by Javier López Pereyra. Its called "El Ramón" and is inspired by the dated idea of what robots would look like in the future, emphiseized by films like "War of the Worlds " in 1953, the tv series "Lost at Space" in 1965. The toy its self is a great piece of design and is hand crafted with Argentinean wood.
The packaging is what caught my attention. The cardboard is recycled and has a really nice grey finish which is complimented by the white silk screen print. I love the typeface used which matches the toys inspiration and compliments the design. The colors, layout and funky logos create a fantastic design which i would love to be the owned of.
